Programming at DisCon III
The DisCon III Program Division will present hundreds of hours of discussion panels, presentations, workshops, and classes on subjects covering all kinds of speculative fiction, media, art, science, and the full range of fannish interests and activities. Among our participants will be authors, editors, artists, musicians, costumers, scientists, fan organizers, creators of fan content, and 2021’s Hugo Award finalists.
Program subject areas will include:
- Children’s and Teen programming
- New Media
- TV and film, including showings
- Writing and Editing
Other activities will include readings, signings, concerts, and dances.
If you are interested in taking part in the DisCon III program in any way, we would love to hear from you. We are as eager to hear from first-time participants as we are from those who have done this many times before, and aim to welcome as diverse a group of participants as possible. If you have interests, knowledge, or experience that you would like to share as part of the convention program, please get in touch with us. As a first step, we ask you to complete our program participant application form. As well as telling us more about you, completing the form will give permission to keep your information and contact you as we develop our program. Without this permission, we will be unable to contact you.
Joining the Program Team
As with the entire convention, the DisCon III program will be planned and run by volunteers. The Program Division has openings at all levels, and for all levels of experience. In August 2021, DisCon III will bring together thousands of people from around the world. If you would like to help us plan a weekend to remember for everyone involved, please contact us at email@example.com , or you can click here to learn more about volunteering.
